A GLOBAL TRADE OUTLOOK: DOING BUSINESS WITH MEXICO, CHINA AND JAPAN

 

The Los Rios Community College District’s Center For International Trade hosts global trade workshop and town hall meeting for regional businesses and workforce.

On Thursday June 28, 2018, the Los Rios Community College District’s Center for International Trade Development, the Northern California World Trade Center and California’s North Region Global Trade program, hosted a global trade workshop and town hall meeting at their Ethan Way Conference Center. Over 60 regional businesses and entrepreneurs from the Greater Sacramento Region and beyond, listened to US Foreign Service Officer Dale Wright speak about trade sanctions, tariffs and trade development relative to Mexico, China and Japan.  Businesses were eager to learn how potential trade wars and tariff barriers could affect their markets, the local economy and jobs.
