“DOING BUSINESS IN ANGOLA”

This Angola National Private Investment Agency led trade delegation, which includes the Commercial Representation of the Embassy of Angola, will present New Market Trends & Opportunities in Angola.

Angola is currently the third largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa. According to the World Bank, Angola expanded its economy by 6.8% in 2012 to $119 billion. In 2013, Angola’s GDP was $126.6 billion, an increase of $7.6 billion in just one year. Angola’s number one export commodity is oil but in efforts to diversify and strengthen their economy they are focusing on the growth of nonoil sectors. The anticipated growth will expand the nonoil sector by 8.3%. Angola is one of the five fastest-growing economies in the world, leading to a breadth of opportunity for California exports to Angola.
