The Northern California Center for International Trade Development with it’s USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant, the Sacramento U.S. Export Assistance Center, and the California Department of Food and Agriculture would like to invite you to join us in a WUSATA Branded Program “Train-the-Trainer” Seminar  on Wednesday, December 10th, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Sacramento.

WUSATA Branded Program

The Branded Program is a matching funds program that supports the promotion of branded food and agricultural products in foreign markets. Applicants can receive up to 50% back on international marketing expenses such as brochures, POS materials, in-store demos, trade shows, advertising, and labels for foreign markets. This program also allows businesses to promote their products more effectively, with a larger budget they can prosper in many ways. They can increase exports, meet new foreign buyers, establish new distributor relationships, and sell products for the first time in a new market. Applicants can receive anywhere from $5,000 to $250,000 per year. For a more comprehensive list of rules and regulations, please refer to the WUSATA website at  www.wusata.org

Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA)

WUSATA is a non-profit trade association comprised of 13 state-funded agricultural promotion agencies. In conjunction with their member organizations, WUSATA administers programs funded in part through the USDA/FAS Market Access Program (MAP) that help small agribusinesses to grow their global markets. Services offered include: trade events and activities that target markets around the globe (Generic Program); 50% cost reimbursement on international marketing expenses (Branded Program); and export education seminars and one-on-one meetings with an international marketing consultant (Export Education Program).  www.wusata.org
